Top 5 Military Games Performance in New Zealand, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top military games in New Zealand saw varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at how these games performed.

Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $62K in early August, then declining to approximately $30K by the end of September. Downloads started at about 2.5K per week in July, with a slight decrease to around 2.1K by early September, before a small rebound to 2.4K at the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 30K throughout this period.

For Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile, weekly revenue remained modest, ranging from $400 to $800. Downloads showed a gradual decline from 831 in early July to 539 by the end of September. Active users slightly decreased from 5.5K to 5.3K over the quarter.

Metal Slug: Awakening-Season2 showed an interesting pattern with its revenue, which spiked to $2.2K in mid-September. However, downloads dropped significantly from 3.6K in its launch week to just 54 by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline from 3.3K to 264 over the quarter.

Frontline Heroes: WW2 Warfare had a relatively stable performance in terms of revenue, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching $110. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 751 and ending at 529. Active users showed minimal changes, maintaining around 3.8K.

Lastly, Pure Sniper: Gun Shooter Games saw a slight dip in revenue, starting at $485 and ending at $297. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, reaching a peak of 647 in mid-July before settling at 472 in late September. The number of active users remained stable, with minor fluctuations around the 1.3K mark.
